NOTE - THIS IS AN ELITE CATEGORY
The Full Marathon - Elite category of the JBG Kolkata Marathon 2026 is exclusively for high-performance runners. Participation in this category is through a qualification process and by invitation only.
Elite athletes will be selected based on their qualifying performances and will compete for the top podium positions in the Male and Female categories. The Elite category will be conducted under professionally managed race conditions with accurate RFID timing and race-day support.
Age Eligibility
- Participants must be 18 years or above on Race Day.
- Both Male and Female athletes are eligible to apply.
- Participation is subject to meeting the prescribed qualifying performance requirements.
- Final participation will be confirmed by the Elite Management Team of Sportiz.

Prize Money
Prize money will be awarded to the Top 4 podium finishers in the Elite Category for both Male and Female participants, based on GUN TIME.
There will be No Age Category prizes in the Elite Category.

Participation Process
- Send an email to sportizenquiry@gmail.com and andysportselitemanagement@gmail.com with your qualifying time certificate, Photo ID proof, and contact details.
- Email Subject – Application for Elite Category JBGKM 2026 – "Your Name", "Your City"
- The Elite Management Team of Sportiz will review all applications and contact shortlisted athletes for the further process.
- Qualified and confirmed participants will be requested to complete the registration process.
- The list of confirmed Elite – International and Indian National category participants (Male & Female) will be updated on the event website.
Important Information
- Participation in the Elite Category is strictly subject to qualification and invitation.
- Submission of a qualifying timing certificate does not guarantee selection.
- Qualifying performances must be supported by a valid timing certificate or official race result as requested by the organizers.
- The organizers reserve the right to verify submitted qualifying performances and documents.
- Final selection and participation will be subject to the approval of the Elite Management Team.
- Participants must carry a valid Government-issued Photo ID during BIB collection and event verification.
- All participants must follow the race rules, instructions, and safety guidelines issued by the organizers.
